That would certainly cause the nursing facility to run afoul of state survey and certification requirements and resident's rights statutes. I wonder if any of the nursing home rights groups are saying anything about this case. It would be terrible precedent for any elderly nursing home resident, never mind a young one.

It is a hospice. Not sure if that would make a difference.
