If the worst does happen, will Terri's parents be allowed to be with her while she's dying? I just can't bear the thought that she would die without the people that love her the most being there to hold her hands and comfort her.

Just contemplating this scenario makes me cry...

The last time they removed the tube. NO. They did not allow her family to stay with her. They stood outside of the hospice. This made me frantic.
Others will have to tell you whether they were allowed to come and go. But I don't think so.

I think it would be whatever Michael would think that would hurt them the most.

They should be able to be there, at least part of the time, and with the guards there, maybe even most of the time.

Last time they did this to Terri her parents were only allowed to visit her a couple times a day for a few minutes at a time. Michael had a member of his girlfriend's family standing guard at the foot of Terri's bed to make sure no one tried to help her.
