We are not going to take back our country by sending out emails and writing letters.

It is long past time for action rather than words.

I asked earlier in this thread and saw no answer, but would a policeman shoot someone who tried to feed Terri?

Think about it.

They would physically try and stop them, if that failed, I believe they would shoot them. But the outrage would be catastrophic. The person killed I believe would become a national hero.

No. But they probably would handcuff and haul away anybody who tried to get close to Terri -- including her own family.

Sadly, since Michael Schiavo has deprived Terri of therapy for all these years, I don't know if Terri could swallow food right away.

See this recent article about the beautiful Sarah Scantlin, who just a couple of weeks ago "woke up" from a "vegetative state" that lasted 20 years.

Sarah is now wide awake and talking intelligently -- but "Her neck muscles are so constricted she cannot swallow to eat."

So I think that would probably be true for Terri, too. I trust she will eventually be able to swallow food, but it will take time and lots of therapy for her to accomplish that.
