Are you nuts? Get rid of the filibuster, and then what are we supposed to do if the Dems ever get control the senate?

Many big guns were dragged out to blast from the podium: Minority Leader Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, Byrd, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, Chuck Schumer, and Hillary Clinton Absolutely scary that this is the best the other side has.
Let's go Republicans. Strike while the iron is hot. They have fired their best shot, now is the time for "shock and awe." Ya got the cojones for that? Make us proud of you.

What is happening with the Libs / Dems is that they realize that getting sensible somewhat conservative judges to the bench with seriously stifle the Liberal agenda, which currently can't have its way by popular vote. So, the alternative means, which we all have witnessed, is for liberal judges to legislate from the bench. If the GOP can fill all the vacant positions now open across the country, this will definitely help bring back somewhat of a balance in power between liberal and conservative judicial proceedings in our courts.
I hope the Senate uses the Procedural Option ASAP to get their job done and slam the Dumonuts.
