These are two similar sounding grunts which seem meaningless. Why not focus on the other sounds that seem far more unique?

Phonetically they are similar. The word stress patterns, however, are often very different [nonstressed stressed for the affirmative; stressed nonstressed for the negative].

I understand that.

The original proposition was to send Gov. Bush a copy of the chart that is so often posted. There is no way to ascertain stress patterns, inflections etc. without sound. Would you not agree that an audio tape, in addition to the chart, would be more effective than just the chart itself?
