MOJAVE -- SpaceShipOne-builder Scaled Composites expects to expand this year, adding a new hangar and, if all goes well, about 70 new employees.
Famed aircraft designer Burt Rutan's company is expanding in part because of its spacecraft work for billionaire airline owner Sir Richard Branson, but Scaled Composites also has other projects.

Burt Rutan has combined tremendous technical and engineering talent with entrepreneurship and a healthy dose of boyish enthusiasm that has put his accomplishments among to most fun things to watch on, and off, this earth.
I know bright kids at MIT dropping everything to intern with this crowd. They can pick whatever talent they want.
