While I can't quote the stats to you, I've seen a study that shows if a boy with homosexual urges can simply avoid acting on them, these urges will likely die down drastically by the time he gets to his mid-20s.

And I still can't understand why the high mortality rate, suicide rates, and higher drug abuse problems associate with the homosexual lifestyle aren't worthy of consideration when the MSM talks about gays, esp. with respect to young people at the age where then might choose to go this way.

You speak the truth. All kids who reach puberty have some sort of confusion as to their sexual identity, one way or the other. Both those with heterosexual and those with homosexual tendancies need to be taught to retrain their passions and not act upon them.

Of course, all Liberal masters would prefer that all act upon their baser passions so they can turn to big brother government rather than tradional moral teachings for guidance.

Just as most people have the common sense not to copulate like fruit flies whenever and wherever the opportunity to do so is available, they can also be taught that passions can be reserved for the proper time and place.

For the same reason the high emotional stakes, depression rate and breast and cervical cancer connection, not to mention the guilt factor, aren't considered when talking about abortion....it doesn't fit the agenda.

Interesting. Note that occasionally "advice" columns in the papers get a letter from a young teen who wonders if he might be gay. The answer is always to send the kid to his local GLBT group to help him "deal with it."
