It's interesting that none of the people you mention have needed to win an election before. A pro-choice candidate will cut the Republicans' throat at the polls. Dividing your base is a lousy way to win an election.

If I wanted to vote for an abortionist, I'd vote Democrat.

The above is a great example of why the GOP will loose Congress in the next few years, maybe not 06 or 08 but surely by 2012. Life takes a back seat to all "other issues". Only to those who value their own selfish concerns over the life of another. What you need to understand is one day you, like everyone, will be a useless eater. Once the pro life crowded is out maneuvered, with a little help from people such as yourself, they will come after you. You can count on it unless you plan on being one of those who do the coming after.
