Something to do with the courthouse shooting? If it is, the perp is racking up so many charges that he'll never see the sun again when he's caught. I don't see the judicial system being a soft-sell on this guy.

Well they certainly gave him a Soft-cell (dressing room) before. Maybe they've learned their lesson, with four people shot and one dead, and now maybe another one.

That was a foregone conclusion at around 8:00 am yesterday. All I care about now is killing him before he kills more.
This nightmare has only happened because they were soft on him in the first place.
There's an old saying about killing cops: "The first one is expensive. All the rest are free".
He killed three people in a courtroom, in front of some large number of witnesses. He will be executed if caught, the police have no incentive for taking him alive, and every incentive to just shoot him on sight. He has nothing left to lose. There is nothing he can do which will put him in any worse legal trouble than he already is.
