Look people - no matter what your personal convictions are about abortion won't matter. The fact is that most conservative activists ARE anti-abortion and ALL of the religious conservative voters are very nearly single issue voters on abortion. If Rice doesn't change her position on this issue, she will be radioactive as far as most of these people are concerned. The idea of nominating a candidate with a built-in handicap is foolish - unless she changes here stance. If she does that, she will have the Oval Office for the taking. Her base shouldn't have to compromise - she should as their representative.

But the main issue about abortion is federal judges. What is her view there?
