Because I think drugs suck? Because I had a cousin who died from a cocaine overdose?
The question isn't about whether drugs suck, it's about whether that man was guilty. I just hate to see good people make excuses to not participate in the jury system, and then complain about jury decisions.
I think that makes you perfectly suited to be on a jury. Your way of thinking is in-line with the majority of society.
Having people on a jury that do not think drugs are a problem is bad for our country.
I'm sorry to say, but you were wrong to say you would be biased. You revealed too much about yourself, but you would have made an excellent juror.
Instead, you may have been replaced by someone who felt drug use and distribution is a 'victimless' crime or the fault of society.
