Yes, this is cheaper than investing in holsters that are resistant to perps or training of law enforcement officers on how to handle a potentially armed suspect.

Don't some Armed forces units, such as National Guard Units, have a cable strapped to the gun, which is strapped to the LBV, or other load bearing gear, which doesn't allow the gun to be turned on the owner, or allows the gun to be removed from the owner?
