As a woman, I couldn't agree with you more. Frankly, I think they should make illegal for us to pump our own gas - I've explained to my son, that it is indeed illegal in Alabama. ;-)

Brilliant - unlawful for us to pump gas. I love it. And, change tires. (Actually, I KNOW how to change a tire - I just DON'T! That's my husband's job, when needed.)

My daughter got by with having her hubby pump her gas when they first married. 4 kids later and several years - it no lnger works.

In some highly unionized jurisdictions, it is illegal for anyone other than an employee of the retailer selling the gas to pump it. Boston for example, or it was last time I was there at least.
