I am an Atlanta native and was carjacked outside of Masquerade on Ponce Of course there are some questionable people who frequent that club anyway. Not the safest place to be when folks are doing drugs.

I am a questionable person? I was at Masquerade at a "Jewbilee" party on Xmas Eve in 1994. (An annual event for young, single Jews on Xmas Eve). I wasn't doing drugs. It just happens that Ponce is scary as hell and a gang of 3 (2 girls and one guy) were waiting beside the club in hopes of stealing my friend's Dodge Stealth for an initiation.

And, by the way, Masquerade was one of the best venues to see many excellent bands. I was a regular there for well over a decade.
