He escaped from custody in a courthouse, made it out of a court house, carjacked several cars, had the police chasing the wrong car for 24 hours, took out two officers. Not many could have done that.
I'm not praising this guy, I'm just saying that his resourcefulness made him VERY dangerous.
His only mistake was to stay in town when everyone in the state was looking for a green honda.
Since he only made it to North Atlanta when he had free sailing (thanks to the cops) to just about anywhere in the country, I am rescinding any credit to him of being 'clever'. :)
I am still amazed he managed to overpower a deputy sheriff, shoot and kill a judge and a court reporter, and not only make it out of the courthouse alive, but shoot and kill another deputy sheriff once he exited the building, and evade capture for 24 hours.
I am not surprised he went back to his old neighborhood, and was caught there. If he had any sense to go with his gall, he would be in Canada by now.
