Except in Louisiana where we all compare family trees to see if we are cousins

In the small towns around here we all are....or you are at least related to a cousin. No "if" about it!

But do yall compare family trees on public conveyances with rank strangers?

And do you all understand the difference between a first cousin, first cousin once removed and second cousin??? If you do , you have Louisiana roots, trust me on that.

You can marry your second cousin, did you know that? It is important in places like Louisiana as alot of people are your second or third cousin, once or twice removed.

I myself would only marry a third cousin, that is if I didn't have a servicable current husband who is unrelated, I think.
