How many times has this scenario taken place because the officer was female? If there is some pattern we should address it. As they say in MO, show me. So you need to see more people die in this manner rather than investigate what the problem really was in this case. More people dead versus women's hurt little feelings...that apparently seems like a "fair" trade to you. Got it.

Use common sense. Females should not be guarding guys like this. Especially females with guns who can be overcome and their guns be taken. I think that too many people believe what they see on TV and in the moivies that women would stand a chance fighting the average guy, not to mention criminals.
The training needs to be better, but do not use females. Why cannot people realize this or admit this? It is not a question of fairness or rights for God's sake. Use your heads!
