years ago I was walking to my apartment inn New Orleans, corner of Claiborne and Canal, late. I heard a man running toward me and looked around and there he was coming. I broke into a run screaming like a banshee and windows opened and people were watching.

Well, he ran right past me. Months later at a party, a professor at Tulane was describing an hilarious event when he went out for a job and some girl started screaming. He said "you should have seen the dame's face when I passed her by" laughing. The whole party laughed. I didn't confess.

and I hope you'd do the exact same thing tomorrow, in a heartbeat..

I remember my first Mardi Gras...1965...5 of us drove down from school.NYU...what a blast...I rememer as we're leaving NO the day after, we're tuning the radio, the NO police chief is being interviewed...never forget his coment..somethign like.."It was a pretty good Mardi Gras....only 7 people got killed.."
