As a person and a child of God, Rowland Barnes is no more and no less valuable than you or I.
As a judge, his murder is very significant and serious.
Striking down a judge and his employees in their courtroom is a blow against the entire judicial system and the society that keeps YOU safe.
Doesn't matter what beef you have with any individual judge or with the system, or that a particular offender escapes justice (because they do, always have, and always will. No human system is perfect.)
What matters is that this is a blow to the heart of society. So yes, in his position as a judge, he IS more important than you or I.

You said it better than I could,,this is worse than and ordinary murder to all of us. Neither is insignificant but this is horrendous.
no, I disagree...maybe in the Middle ages the kings were more important, but gee, we have this little thing called a constitution that says that we are all created equal.....
my point only is that the very judicial system that has let all Americans down is the same system that helped produce this tragedy today.....
if we weren't so politically correct, if we didn't let the ACLU run roughshod over our laws, if we were more concerned with the safety of society instead of making the defendent look good, then Mr. Nicohls would never have been out of prison garb and he would have had handcuffs on......
