The perp is black. The judge he shot is white. If you think that these facts are insufficient to establish a "racial angle" in the minds of a significant subset of underclass blacks in America today then you are a fool.
The racial angle comes in to play when the perpetrator is a celebrity such as OJ or when the crime itself has racial overtones, such as Reginald Denny.
