What is wrong with supplying more information. Every radio report I've heard describes him as a black male of medium complexion.
They don't always mention that he is black on TV but they always post his photo when they are describing him so they just add to it by saying that he has medium complexion.
There are many blacks in Atlanta - why not focus the search on the complexion that actually matters? If they were after a white guy, I would hope that they would state if he had a pale or dark complexion.
