Wish we could head "down Texas way" but we're shooting in a sporting clays tourney this weekend to benefit the Boy Scouts. Eighty seven gents and me, it'll be torture, but somehow I'll manage. ;-)

6 hrs at 60 mph could put him 360 miles away. At 70 mph, 420 miles.

OR he could have driven into someone's garage, pulled down the door, and holding the resident hostage. Then leave under cover of darkness, probably on back roads. Helocopters wouldn't spot him then. Nothing is beyond him.

His best bet would be Canada. They will only extradite if he's not given the death penalty. Not that it would make that much difference in Georgia. I think they've executed only 30 on death row since reinstatement in 1977.
