Supposedly five shots fired, per eye witness.
Doesn't that mean he'll be out of ammo after another shot?
I think I did read he had fired at one of the carjack victims.
If so, no more ammunition...is that correct?

Not many cops carry revolvers these days. More likely a Glock. 15-17 rounds.

That's only if the murderer acquired a revolver from the deputy. If it's semi-auto, it's likely 9mm and the magazine probably holds 15 to 19 rounds, total.

WAGA just mentioned that more shots were fired outside the courtroom. So let ammo avaliable.

its unlikely the deputy was carrying a 6 shot revolver.
more than likely the gun was a 9mm or a .40 cal semi-automatic. in that case the clip was at least 10 rounds

Doesn't that mean he'll be out of ammo after another shot? Only if the gun was a revolver, which is unlikely these days. Most likely is a Glock, but there are other possibilities. Glocks have various capacities depending on model and caliber, but generally greater than 10 rounds.
