This is why Free Republic is the best! We police our own and do not tolerate outrageous comments. Something like this at DU would have gone unchallenged.
Apples and oranges, really. The cesspool that is DU doesn't even represent the bulk of those who vote Democrat. In the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi, "There has never been a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."
I have a map of the internet on my cubicle wall. When I see the host that supports DU, I think to myself that is should say, "Here there be monsters..."
On topic, however, I don't think this guy will get far, or be on the loose for very long. Something like this galvanizes the public and law enforcement in ways that cannot be described. You may elude the police, but at some point you have to face the public.
