"Amazing he managed to grab a gun, shoot 3 deputies and escape from a building which likely had many more deputies and still be on the run."

Yep, that struck me as well. Don't know all the details yet but it seems to me that the innocent always pay dearly because of some liberal's inane sense of fairness.. in that he wasn't handled in a more secure way considering the shiv, machine gun charge and his rap sheet.

True I remember from visiting my ex uncle-in-law and his "companion" lived in Atlanta. In three hours that guy could be sitting on Tybee Island drinking a ber by now

Agreed - this guy is probably well connected in the criminal community and it probably a hero right now for shooting a cop and a judge.

With the SEC tournament in town, he can easily disapear. If he gets out of state, will anyone really recognize him after a few days - espcially if he grows a beard or something.

Yeah, we heard you the first time.

Anyone who wishes for judges to be murdered because they do not agree with their rulings is sick. I don't agree with a lot of peoples political views, but I do not wish them dead. I feel sorry for people who do.

It's very condescending and patronizing to see certain respected regulars in here become "shocked" and dismayed at a comment wishing "good riddance" to activist liberal judges....in the context it was typed.

Not at all. Aparently, the Admin Mod agrees with us too. Her comments were way, way out of line, especially in this context! The context is a judge was just murdered in cold blood, along with other innocent victims. Its not the time or place to spout wishes of death to liberal judges.

Have you not been following along? Turns out he was NOT a liberal activist judge in the context that lily made him out to be.

His decision in regards to the woman who was sterilized was made based in the sentence recommendation by the DA and concurred on by the defense.

How is that being a "liberal activist judge" much less a human being that ANY of us deem worthy of dying with a stolen cops gun?

I can stand the DUmmies but I wouldn't wish ANY of them to die like that.

So , what are you saying. That saying "good riddance" on the death of an "activist judge" is a good thing?

Because the court "didn't want to prejudice the jury."

Are you sure about this? It is reported that he had already been tried (the trial ended in a hung jury) and he was out on bond.

Norwegian. Ukranian. German. I don't tan. I turn pink, then burn. Not as bad as the Irish who seem to skip the whole "turn pink" part of that.

More photos:

Evidence markers outside the courthouse. Does anyone know if shots were fired outside the building?

He was in a room with a deputy awaiting his trial. Seems he got tired of waiting.

A defense atty. was on CNN earlier. He said that a deputy would never, ever tell a judge about finding a weapon on a prisoner. Referring to the shank found on the perp in this case. A deputy wouldn't ever, ever want to influence a judge.

Wouldn't that be something a judge would need to know?
