Now, wait! Which law enforcement agency does the ACLU represent...hmmmm!?

If the Minuteman Project volunteers violate the law or someone's civil rights, it is up to law enforcement to see it and deal with it. The ACLU and its observers are NOT part of any law enforcement agency. Therefore, by their own definition, the ACLU observers are vigilantes themselves. The ACLU now has no right to complain about the MMP coming to Cochise County to observe and report lawbreakers to the proper authorities when the ACLU itself is sending people to Cochise County to observe and report potential lawbreakers.

ACLU always was a vigilante organization. They have arrogated to themselves the right to harass and intimidate those who may not have been clear on very fine nuances of the law, but believed that they understood the broad meaning of that law. The ACLU has argued that black is white, so often, that the original definitions are blurred beyond satisfactory resolution, and the letter of the law they claim to stand for has become whatever they can convince a judge of their choosing to declare it to be.

In short, ACLU has become the very worst representation of what barristry stands for, the use of the legal system not to represent the search for truth, but to deny any degree of impartial justice to the opposite party.

"The migration by our southern neighbors is not an invasion," Ybarra counted.

Too bad the majority of America doesn't agree with you, Senor Ybarra.

Spiff, thanks for posting this one. I've been busy today. Did you also manage to post the thread about the Governor telling the Mexican Delegation where they could shove their concerns about Mexican migrants?

Simcox said the ACLU observers can walk along with the volunteers and sit with them.

When they break out the 'peace' pipes and the 'home rolled' 'tobacky' - that's when they gotta go! lol

Many people who want the border closed say the United States is being invaded by illegal immigrants to the detriment of the nation's economic well being and security.

What about the Mujahideen???!!!

Does the ACLU know MS-13 has threatened to capture some of these Minutemen, cut off their b@lls and feed them to their vicious dogs, and cut off their heads and play soccer with them?

Is the ACLU sure they want to be out in the desert when the shiite hits the fan?

(hint for the Minutemen: remember that when hunting grizzlies with a camera, you should always be certain you have at least one in the party who runs slower than you. My bet is each and every one of these ACLU lawyers are city-slickers and have never been further out in the wild than their illegal-alien-manicured back yards - so maybe it's not such a bad idea to have a few along with you?)

Just who will be "monitoring" the activities of the ACLU? Maybe some volunteers should follow alongside with the ACLU vigilantes with digital cameras and other methods of "monitoring" and record their activies to ensure that there is an accurate record, not that the ACLU would ever lie!

The Minutemen are not "vigilantes" they are just undocumented Border Patrol agents.

The ACLU can "follow" all they want, but when the MS-13 gangsters come around, they better have their own guns, cause the Minutemen will be too busy defending themselves to defend the ACLU types.

The ACLU has never met an illegal alien it didn't see as being unwelcome in this country.

Well stated.

The ACLU is in a frenzy in support of activities and groups that will damage this country. They go after small school that dare to say a prayer - God to them is a dirty word, they have attacked the National Honor Society's requirement to have character count (and won), they have supported pedophiles and other dangerous perverts, the list goes on.

"At least two ACLU observers will tag along wherever Minuteman Project volunteers go,"

Not on private property they won't.

It is beyond time for the ALCU to be charged with racketeering, intimidation, and extortion.

He said the Minuteman Project has the potential to violate a number of state statutes,....

The Bill of Rights has the potential for the same but as Tom Landry said, "Potential means you haven't done it yet."

"Therefore, by their own definition, the ACLU observers are vigilantes themselves. "

Excellent point. Liberals don't believe in violence or "taking the law into their own hands", unless it is they that is doing it.

There may also be Arizona law that prohibits the vigilante actions of the ACLU, including stalking, harassing, and disturbing the peace.

The MMP should go as deep as possible into the desert, and, just before nighfall, have someone pick them up in a truck or ATVS, leaving these dweezles to freeze to death.
