Excerpted from Evans-Novak newsletter. Whether you like Novak or not, his list points up a few of the things Mr. Bolton can be counted on to bring to the mix.

"It is the clearest sign yet that Bush is taking off his gloves and preparing to make life miserable for the UN establishment"...

I like Novak. He's usually got the best insider info from around the Beltway but his writing neverreads like it's been sensationalized.

It is the clearest sign yet that Bush is taking off his gloves and preparing to make life miserable for the UN establishment.

'Preparing to?' And I thought Bush had been doing a pretty good job of that all along. This might get real interesting.

I'm beginning to believe that Bush and Rove have decided to force the Dems into madness with appointments that will drive them to blocking appointments. Eventually, they will be seen as the Party of NO.

The UN is antithetical to human rights, human civilization and human progress.

'nuff said?

Ambassador Bolton RULES!

"Bolton's nomination comes just days after UN observers shouted, jeered, and catcalled when the U.S. delegate to a UN convention on women, Ellen Sauerbrey, attempted to speak. Sauerbrey was pushing to prevent the UN's "Beijing plus ten" conference from being seen as establishing an internationally recognized right to abortion."

Those catcalls were coming from the Global Feminist leftist elite, that have managed to create a taxpayer-funded shindig to confer, add to their power, bash male patriarchy all the while enjoying the privileges of being part of the global elite...

Bush is not afraid to send in straight-shooters to bust up these events. Good for him. This is like the Terminex man coming to a convention of cockroaches.

3) Among Bolton's better quotations: "The Europeans can be sure that America's days as a well-bred doormat for EU political and military protections are coming to an end." Also: "While treaties may be politically or even morally binding, they are not legally obligatory." More: "There is no such thing as the United Nations." And finally: "If the UN secretariat building in New York lost ten stories, it wouldn't make a bit of difference."

ROFL!! Rummy AND Bolton? Time to get the straitjackets for the Libs! lol

As for the UN, I've said this before - I would very much like to see them gone. Another organization, or complex of treaties, is called for. But the UN is a corrupt organization in the control of the worst nation-states on earth, ALL of whom desperately despise the freedom which the US and its allies defend. CUT THE UN LOOSE! NOW!
