The premise behind ALL evolution is that there is no god.Not quite. It is that we can change, ignore, hide from, disavow, and hate the One who created all things from the beginning; that God is not who He says He is.

Me: The premise behind ALL evolution is that there is no god.
You: Not quite. It is that we can change, ignore, hide from, disavow, and hate the One who created all things from the beginning; that God is not who He says He is.
Me:Huh? Again, the premise behind ALL evolutionists is that there is NO GOD. ANYTHING else is permissible for an origin BUT GOD. God is NOT allowed to be the original and initial Creator. Good grief - haven't you figured that out, YET?

Many people are atheists because they tar Christians with the brush of stupidity
Let me see if I get this right, you say "many people are atheists because they tar Christians"? If that what makes them atheists? Because of their tarring effect?

ANYTHING else is permissible for an origin BUT GOD.On the contrary, only a handful of evolutionists altogether deny the existence of God. The majority make up a god that fits their notions. The former studiously insist evolution has nothing whatsoever to do with origins. The latter throw some kind of god into the picture to satisfy reason. They're called "theistic evolutionists." Charles Darwin is one of them.

Right, since creationists try to bludgeon them into believing nonsense, they think all Christians are stupid.
But we all know that creationists aren't real Christians.

Me: LOL! The prominent ones make no bones about it. I believe God created all we see and don't see so to suggest that He had nothing to do with "origins" is very confused. Other may want to believe there is some kind of a god but the very premise of evolution is that there is NO god so I tell you they are very confused as well. As for Charles Darwin, he was certainly no Christian nor did he believe in a god. BTW, there is no such thing as a "theistic evolutionists" since again, the premise of evolution is that there is NO god. You can't have it both ways. One contradicts the other - it's nonsense.

LOL!
the very premise of ALL evolutionary hypothesis is that there is NO god!
If you want to see a "bearer of false witness", may I suggest you grab a mirror, hold it up to you face and take a peek at WHO you see in it?

the very premise of ALL evolutionary hypothesis is that there is NO god! Have you ever seen that "premise" stated except on the false science creationists' websites? I think not.

You can't have it both ways. One contradicts the other . . .Where personal beliefs are concerned you can have it any way you want. Evolution and theism can easily be reconciled in one's head. Most people seem to prefer a little of both.

Me: You can't have it both ways. One contradicts the other . . .
You: Where personal beliefs are concerned you can have it any way you want. Evolution and theism can easily be reconciled in one's head. Most people seem to prefer a little of both.
Me: Sure you can believer whatever you like - no doubt about that but is it rational to believe that two opposing doctrines are true at the same time? Does the law of nontracdiction ring a bell? Both opposing doctrines can NOT be true at the same time and this is the problem "theists" that believe in evolution run into.
You can rationalize anything you like in your head but does it make sense? Opposing theories or hypotheses can not both be true at the same time.
Most people have it wrong and since when is there "truth" in numbers? LOL! We can both look down the corridors of history and see where the majority got is very wrong.
The problem with all of this is that the Bible is quite clear that He SPOKE creation into existence in six, twenty-four hour days. The Hebrew is VERY clear on that. Any Orthodox Rabbi will vouch for that. It didn't take billions or millions of years. Also note that death occurred BEFORE man evolved and the "order" of evolution and how all "originated" - NONE of it reconciles with what God says and what evolutionists claim defies genuine science. There is no way in the world that you can have sophisticated life forms just happen. You do not have order our of chaos as determined by evolution. So you see there are MANY problems with evolution and what the Bible clearly states. What is a comfort to me is that science supports the Creation view - so it's not just a "religious" view whereas evolution is a faith in no god at all.
In conclusion, many are confused. They don't know their Bible and accept peer pressure from the Biologists and other atheists to lead them away from truth - Biblical and genuine science. Evolutionists are no different than liberals - they have NO tolerance for another view and scream bloody murder when they don't get their way and resort to lies and slander to their critics. There is no low too low for an evolutionist to go to. Surely even you have seen the headlines on the intolerance of evolutionist and their minions. As for me, I don't get all perturbed over people believing in tooth fairies as adults ... the evidence is there too, that they don't exist. So would I spend oodles of time arguing with adults that insist on believing this? No! Nor do I spend oodles of time with adults that insist on believing in godless evolution which genuine science also rejects. The scientific evidence is there for people who wish to see it and accept it.

Spell checker missed my typo
Law of Non Contradiction.
Most people view that as common sense. From the logic crowd it has that title.

Sounds to me like atheism is a cult. But then again that is just from a person with an IQ lower than 100. I would much rather have an IQ lower than 100 if it means that heaven will be made up of such as I.
Cult is from the Latin [cultus] meaning to cultivate, and by extension, any group or sect which cultivates, or 'promotes growth' through their beliefs to make proselytes. In modern Theological terms, the word is generally reserved for religious groups which (in contrast to classical Christianity, of having God's Word as their authority) blindly give authority to their leader. These leaders are often venerated, and manipulate and control the group through their charisma, deception, fear, and even perceived power. Anyone having a fanatical veneration of, or loyalty to, a human leader, animal, or thing.

I won't defend atheism, as I think it is a stupid position similar to creationism. But the leaders of creationism, Ham, Dembski, Johnson and Morris fit your definition of cult to a T.

Scientists think. Liberals and creationists don't. The similarities seem to be between creationists and liberals.
