My dilemma this week was that I caught a young feral kitty in my raccoon trap. I know what damage it is going to wreck on birds and nests and others this spring but didn't have the heart to "off" it

We have two cats and they have been declawed - Front set only. They are not a threat to other animals and I like it this way. Unfortunately, some of our neighbors have not done the same and irresponsibly let their cats out. Ours have been injured in fights and I've come pretty close to getting a Pellet Gun to get rid of them.

Feral Cats are another matter and I understand your dilemma.
