April 6, 2005 - Helicopter Crashes in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, April 6, 2005 - A CH-47 Chinook helicopter crashed today near Ghazni, Afghanistan, roughly 100 miles southwest of the Afghan capital of Kabul. No official report on the personnel aboard was immediately available, but a news release from U.S. military officials in Kabul said initial reports indicate there are casualties.
