The Temple Mount is known as the Haram al-Sharif (Noble Sanctuary) to Muslims.

I've read a bit about this. Some Israelis want to take over the Temple to stop the withdraw of Israeli forces from Gaza.

I've also seen reports that some Orthodox Jews plan to have a sacrifice at the Temple Mount on April 10. Seeing as how muslims have forbid Jews to pray at the site, a sacrifice would really upset them.

This whole situation bears watching closely. IIRC, the Book of Revelations foretold of the Temple Mount being rebuilt during the Tribulation. I remember my mom telling me that material was already being gathered (this was 30+ years ago).

I agree with you on the importance of watching this very closely.....I often think that the mindless attention being paid to stories like Michael Jackson by the MSM; is the keep the sheeple from paying closer attention to what is really important.
