Wow, that's a blast from the past...I had that album. You have to take it with a grain of salt. That 1910 Fruitgum Company album cover was a parody of indian dress and mannerisms, but the end result was they made a couple of decent songs. Ward Churchill hasn't done anything remotely beneficial. I take no offense from that album cover, or from having sports teams with native American-derived names, etc. I take serious offense with someone who claims Cherokee descent who speaks with such vile hatred in their heart, like this pestiferous Churchill.
Ward Churchill is the phoniest of phonies and the fact that he is a tenured professor makes me laugh out loud.
