so this "parents" (not mother or father?) have made the medical decision that their child has a mental illness.
This GIRL is so going to have a screwed up life. Did not ANY responsible adult explain the concept of the tom boy phase?
How on earth can the teachers not be reporting these parents to the authorities. Oh wait--I answered my own questions. They're freaking teachers. Free to be, you and me. And all that stupid crap.
Thank God this was not an option when I was going through my tomboy phase! Life is hard enough without parents making a conscious effort to screw you up.
