Terri did briefly come home -- to her parents' home -- in 1990 or 1991. After 42 days she was put back into hospice care because the burden of caring for her was too great.

Michael Schiavo was living with the Schindlers at that time.

The Schindlers have NEVER had control of Terri OR where she would reside so your point is specious..

Actually, it's very much on point. She was being cared for in her parents' home and it proved too much for all the family members involved, including her parents and her husband. Now if her parents want to try again, then I say let them. Either they will come up with a way of making it work this time or they will come to grips with a situation they have purposefully avoided dealing with.
