The loony leftists aside, average Canadians are upset with the Liberal government and very, very concerned that this decision is going to directly impact them in the pocketbook, given that 80% of Canadian exports are sold to the U.S. market and that tourism here depends heavily on American visitors.
The senate voted today to continue the ban on canadian beef.

They did?! Oh no... I knew that they had the votes to do it but I didn't realize they had actually voted.
They should have tested ALL the animals at the very beginning of this thing and gotten done with it.
