"O Lord God Almighty, you who know your own, you who have called us to trust in you. . ."

we do place Terri in Your care and keep through this hard night. Give Terri peace and comfort in ways that we cannot . . . Give Terri's family and friends the rest they so need tonight after a hard day, and awaken refreshed tomorrow to a better understanding of what we can all best do on Terri's behalf, as we strive to always walk in Your will, according to Your ways. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Amen!

And Lord,
at this time when feelings run high,
and nerves are frazzled,
remind us
of who is in control,
and,
as the anniversary of the sacrifice
in blood and pain and sorrow
of Christ's redeeming sacrifice unfolds before us,
Lead us who care
to be brave, like John and Mary beneath the cross,
standing up as witnesses,
knowing the right,
and chosing the way of he who has the words of life
over the forces of death.

Amen.
