Maybe you were remembering the Carol Burnett Show. Eunice went onto the Gong Show singing "Feelings"

I once saw someone gonged on the "Gong Show" for doing that song. I saw several someones get gonged for singing "Feelings". It became an automatic gong. They even had one show where every act sang some version of it, and got gonged.

I once saw an episode of The Gong Show where every performer did that song... there must have been six or seven of them.
