We're on the same wavelength, kitten. Partly because we read that book (isn't it unreal that his name happens to be "Poe"? Shades of the Pit and the Pendulum! I'd reference the Poe story of the "beating heart", but in this case, I'm afraid our villain isn't familiar with the sound---not having one herself!

And now, in case your thoughts haven't been made grim enough by Hillary's Secret War (HSW), I've updated the analysis to cover the 2004 election. Consider this. The Swift Boat Vets got started, with much difficulty and great help from FR in general and one freeper in particular.

Then what happened? What was the key step, remember? TV stations started playing the Swift Boat ads as news stories! That's exactly what did not happen with Vince Foster and Ron Brown. But did happen with Monica, as Poe implies was actually a distraction from Ron Brown.

Now, lets assume Poe's assumption is right, but stretch it a bit. Let's say Hillary still controlled the media in 2003-4. How could that be, she's not teh President's wife?

Well lets just suppose there are some very bad people somewhere in the world, and Hillary has been devoted to them her whole life, and she and her husband spent some time there together years ago, and lets suppose that now that she's proven herself pretty well, and apparently learned her morality from Saul Alinksy (HSW, p. 61) who learned his from Stalin. So she can still have that power, because these bad people give it to her.

And let's suppose that Hillary didn't want Kerry to win cause it would screw her up for 2008. She could very well have assessed in 2003 that 2008 would be her best chance, after a Kerry loss. So, she could have given the Media the green light. And if not, why did they do it?

However, grim as this is, I believe I have fashioned a winning underground tactic for 2008. Remember when people similar to the Swift Boat people (maybe it was them) had a movie they kept trying to show, an anti-Kerry after Vietnam deal? It almost got on TV, but was blocked?

OK, here's the idea. We conservatives (many of us) are word people. So we have the Net, we have talk radio. Where we need to break into is TV-movie type media. Where we can't get.

The answer: DVDs! DVDs cost pennies apiece to manufacture---once you shoot the film or video. And video quality is advancing quite rapidly, video is being used for various DVDs now, it comes out pretty well. You shoot on a digital camera and edit on a juiced-up PC with nearly pro-type software. You can make pretty good stuff! And produce 10 million DVDs (after production is paid for) for maybe $1 or $2 million! We could mail almost as many as AOL (proof of my info of how cheap it is to manufacture discs---look how AOL throws them away. They may be cheaper than a four-color flyer.)

That's a really interesting idea. My only concern would be Hillary and her goons attempting to thwart distribution somehow. I don't put anything past them.
