Of course she's going to run for re-election. She needs the available limelight for the 2 years up to 2008. Why should she give the voters of NY any consideration? Even I don't think they deserve any for having been dumb enough to vote her in. Which they will do again. You know she has no respect for those she can dupe. No one respects those that let you use them.

This is correct. Without that NY Senate seat, Madame Hillary loses a huge amount of clout. Look what the same action did for/to Bob Dole.
