I'm more concerned about the media's lies, you are more concerned about the executive branch of the law. You can elect heads of office, not CEO's of CNN.
We are getting this info from the media. Give the cop a chance, and don't just assume he's stupid. You weren't there. You were somewhere else where you felt you were wronged.

Yes I know a lot of good cops, and I have seen those same good cops stand by and defend a known scumbag officer, and continue to do so until the offending cop is quietly dismissed even when he should have been prosecuted and imprisoned.
I don't know if they do it, because they want that same support when they are accused or what, but IMO it is absolutely inappropriate.
That "thin blue line" used to mean what stood between law abiding citizens and criminals, now that blue line serves itself 99 out of 100 times.
