"Brain dead" is a very ambiguous term term. Terri had two EEG's that showed no brain activity. CAT scans show 90-95% of her brain is gone, and that it can't regenerate. Reviews of case study have shown that of over 100,000 cases, only 3 ever recovered from Terri's condition. And all of those before 22 months. I would think that would qualify as a "persistent vegatative state", which is the legal test."
