As I understand it, the Republican Assemblies are like a club or sponsored group - and yes they are under the Republican Party. That is my understanding. Republican Assemblies are conservative - also called "the conscience of the Republican Party" or "the Republican wing of the Republican Party". Unfortunately, I don't think they have much power. President Reagan is their hero . . . and mine.

If that's their orientation, they won't have as much power now, sadly. Let's hope they will influence many consciences.
