The Schiavo case has nothing to do with the abortion issue, but I think there is an underlying connection between the issues: in both cases, the rights of an innocent human being are being denied to appease someone who considers that human being a burden. My guess is that the women who are voting against Terri Schiavo are also staunchly pro-abortion rights (as opposed to pro-life or wishy-washy on the issue). In a sick way, these women are probably being consistent.
