I think it's taking a toll on him. Hopefully that man is miserable because of his sin.

Not all, for MRS does not "believe" that he is a "sinner" or that murdering Terri is a "sin." He does not accept those "outdated" words. The man clearly gets a "high" from killing others, both animals and human beings. Isn't it bizarre that the American people (who may have seen through Scott Peterson and O.J. Simpson) cannot see the duplicity in this "sinner" MRS?
