That's come up recently. Nobody here could recall that Rush has ever mentioned Terri. Someone (or maybe several) said they have tried to talk about it on open line Friday, but didn't get past the screener. The general conclusion was that he just doesn't care.

That reminds me of a caller into Michael Savage's show last night.

The topic wasn't Terri, but the caller had an idea that Rush has in a way been neutralized, that he can't really get into anything too controversial, because he himself may need a pardon one of these days in his own case.

I think the caller was right.

Rush may be afraid to mess with Florida on account of his own legal troubles in that state. I don't for a second think Rush doesn't care about Terri Schiavo. I don't even have the heart to call him gutless, given the witchunt against him underway in Florida.
