I think the DCF has nothing to lose by keeping up the fight. I remain optimistic. I think the last day that was scheduled for Terri's tubes to be removed (the date prior to the current March 18 date) was Michael Schiavo's best chance to see that Terri actually dies. Once that date was changed, I think the chances of Terri's eventually dying went down quite a bit on account of the growing public interest in this case.
