I'm just thinking now that maybe he will play a passive/aggressive game and deny the motion JUST to provoke DCF and Gov. Bush and force their hand .. thereby maintaining his status quo positions and demonstrated allegiance to Felos, but letting someone else take decisive action. He's just got to know the low regard in which more and more of the public hold him, and I can't help but believe he's got to be completely sick of this case.

You may be on to something. For purely selfish reasons, Greer may not want to be the last judge/official/politician who determined Terri's fate. (It's not as if all of us pro-Terri folks are going to go away quietly if poor Terri does end up being starved and dehydrated to death.)
