America keeps sinking with each passing generation.

Schiavo deserves chance to live
"Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" is probably one of the most famous phrases in American history. But what does that mean for Terri Schiavo? She has the right to these things just like any other American.
It is vital to note Schiavo is not in a coma or vegetative state, but brain damaged and by no means brain dead. If the courts allow her to be killed, this sets a horrifying precedent and endangers the lives of all disabled people. If Schiavo is killed, it will be murder.
The fact that a person is unable to speak is no reason to kill her. At birth, a baby is not killed because it cannot speak. Schiavo's dependency on a feeding tube is not a reason to kill her. Anyone deprived of food and water would soon die. Why should this woman be starved to death?
If Schiavo is killed, it will be a sad day for all of America. We must be a society that welcomes life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people.
