I, too, am confused. I thought Greer was going to announce today at 3pm EST whether removing Terri's tubed would be delayed to give the DCF 60 days to investigate. Am I right that there will be no news of any kind for the rest of today (meaning, until Monday at the earliest, since the weekend is upon us)?

Did everyone notice this? Schiavo files protection motion to avoid giving deposition (Guardianship case - March 2, 2005)

Guess he just realised that with all this attention and the DCF looking at him, he'd better play CYA.

Greer is making the decision on the 60 days for DCF next Wednesday. Next Monday, there will be hearings on various motions by Terri's parents. On Tuesday, Dave Weldon will be on the floor of the US House talking about federalizing protections for incapacitated Americans. That's where we are as of right now.

DCF's complaint contained over 30 allegations which would make it impossible to investigate all of them before March 18th and certainly many of them may void the order that set the death by starvation for March 18th.
