One has to learn to wade through...I google an author's name, read some of his other work, read his biography, and check other sources to cross check..

I read something I really know about in a publication or site to check for bias, distortion, etc. before trusting them on information about which I know very little.

The smarter ones are safe and use it for what it is. Others less inclined to research anything fall into the trap that because it is written it must be true. This is as bad as a lie that if told often enough becomes common knowledge. This is the very reason the MSM gained its power and began stating political agenda as opposed to presenting unbiased news. The good side of the story is that more and more people have lost faith in the MSM due to people like you and others on this forum doing the research for them and bringing it to light. No one likes to be lied too and it is enough to get some of these people motivated, like me! :)
